Putting the “chic” into Cicchetti


For me, having grown up in a large Italian family that could rival My Big Fat Greek Wedding any day, pasta is the ultimate comfort food. And San Carlo’s latest venture – Italian tapas at Cicchetti – perfectly encompasses exquisite food with a home-spun twist and a buzzing atmosphere. It’s location – nestled in a corner of House of Fraser – provides a stylish backdrop and the staff (who, for the record, do an excellent take on Happy Birthday) are friendly. Of course, it helps that the Italian accents are almost as drool-worthy as the food…
